New Driver Development Course

If you are a new driver, drive as part of your employment or want to apply for a job which includes an element of driving. The Drive 4 Quality New Driver Development Course is for you.

We train on a ratio of three delegates to one instructor. This enables delegates not to become too tired whilst driving and therefore lose concentration but continue the learning process whilst another delegate is being instructed.

Who is the New Driver Development Course aimed at?

It is a course designed for the recently qualified or low mileage driver who wishes to take his or her driving to a higher level, to be more in tune with today's demanding driving conditions.

Where will I drive?

You will receive instruction on some of the most demanding roads in the country. These will include town and city driving as well as rural roads and motorways. It is unlikely you will have driven on most of the roads we use.

Can the Driver Improvement Course really help my driving?

Yes. After the course you should feel  you have learned a great deal, and are more comfortable dealing with twenty-first century road and traffic conditions, as well as achieving the nationally recognised PassPlus standard and able to claim the insurance benefits it provides.

How long does it take and is there a TEST?

Because we at Drive 4 Quality want to reduce new drivers risk of incident as much as possible, our “New Driver Development Course” delivers more modules than the standard PassPlus course and more time is spent on each module.

More training time on each module goes a long way to ensure better understanding and competency. We cover our complete syllabus in a number of whole or half day training sessions totalling about 31 hours training over 5 days.

There is no test as we continually assess and train to ensure you gain the most improvement throughout the course, so, if you complete the course, you attain the standard required and reap the benefits.

What are the Benefits;

After successful completion you receive a “PassPlus” certificate from the Driving Standards Agency which can be used to obtain your cheaper insurance quotes. As the complete course is provided and validated by ourselves you will also receive a certificate from Drive 4 Quality detailing all modules covered.

Safety.

In your first year of driving you have a one in four chance of having an accident. PassPlus has been shown to significantly reduce the likelihood of you being involved in a road traffic accident. What price can you put on this?
